Believe it or not, I've had this candy house for TWENTY-SIX years. I made it in Miss Lizak's kindergarten class at Brookwood Elementary School in Sandy, Utah.
My mom saved it and eventually passed it on to me. I've used it every year as part of our Christmas decor. This year when I took it out, for the first time, some of the candy was feeling sticky. Maybe its days are numbered, hence the photos.

I am amazed you still have the house. I guess Utah's dry climate helped. Oh the memories.
That is one method of food storage, I guess...
I dare you to eat it.
